I FOUND A PICTURE OF A LITTLE CAKE THAT I LIKE ON PINTEREST.
CAN YOU COPY IT?
I will never fully copy a design. That wouldn’t be right! However, the more information the better, and photos are helpful to understand the style and design you are looking for. Please send me your pictures, just know, they will only be used for inspirational purposes.
CAN WE HAVE A CAKE TASTING?
I don’t currently offer traditional tastings. In order to do tastings, I would need to bake a full cake in each flavor to just cut one slice. However, I want everyone to be confident in their order, which is why I can make taster cupcakes. You would need to order a dozen in each flavor you would like to try. If you ultimately choose to order the full cake, 50% of your taster cupcake purchase will go towards the final cake price.
DO YOU HAVE ANY CAKE STANDS AVAILABLE?
Yes! I have a collection of various stands. You can rent a stand from me for a $50 deposit. Once the stand is returned in the same condition, you will be refunded $30. If you are booking a full custom dessert table with me, stands are included at no additional cost.
I WANT A CUSTOM DESSERT TABLE. HOW DO I GO ABOUT DOING THAT?
The best thing to do is contact me through email with the date of your party, the expected amount of people, and your theme. From there, we can piece together the perfect combination of sweets and decorations for your event.
I DON'T SEE THE ANSWER TO MY QUESTION HERE.
No problem! Just shoot me an email and I will get back to you ASAP with an answer.
HOW DO I STORE MY CAKE AFTER PICK UP / DELIVERY?
This will depend on what type/flavor of dessert, and how close it is to the event. I will always let you know if it must be refrigerated or not. I highly recommend you do not display your cakes or desserts outside. South Florida tends to be humid most of the year, which causes buttercream cakes to sweat if they are left out too long. If your house is cool, my buttercream cakes can sit out for a day and be completely fine. Once your cake is cut, an airtight container and refrigerator will ensure you get the most from your cake. You can also freeze it for long-term enjoyment
I'VE DECIDED TO PICK UP MY OWN CAKE. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY
TO TRANSPORT IT?
If you decide to pick up your cake, please make sure you make room in your car for the cake to go flat on the floor. Do NOT place the cake on the seat as it will be slightly tilted and every bump and vibration has the ability to shift the layers. If you don’t have space flat on the floorboard, than you can also place it in the trunk of your car, which sounds scary, but take our word for it! The cake will move with the car and will be boxed neatly to help support cake during its travel. Lastly, in the worst-case scenario, someone can place the cake flat on their lap and stabilize it with their hands. I would not recommend that as the ideal option though. I highly suggest you drive slowly and take turns easily. Smaller cakes should have zero problems, but the higher the tiers the smoother you should drive. Please note that once the cakes and treats have left Aloha Love Sweets, we cannot take any responsibility for damage in relation to how it has been travelled.
WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY ORDER?
It happens, I totally get it! I will always try to accommodate any changes within reason. Changes to your order should be communicated immediately. If it is a minor change (change of icing or adding more cupcakes, flowers, toppers, etc.) 5 to 7 days notice is fine. Otherwise, 2 weeks notice is required for any major changes. Customers will be notified of any price alterations in regards to changes before they are confirmed.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
The initial 50% deposit for your order is strictly non-refundable so please ensure you are 100% happy to book your order. However, if you chose to pay in full up front, and cancel within 7 days of your event, 50% can be refunded otherwise the full amount is forfeited. This is due to the fact that I do a lot of preparation once orders are made whether it be ordering cake toppers, cookie cutters, supplies, flowers, etc.
WHAT VARIOUS TYPES OF DESSERTS DO YOU OFFER?
